The “small print”

1.  “We/us” refers to Leominster Museum CIO (registered charity no. 1162600).

2.  Payment:  We are happy to accept payment, in sterling only, via PayPal or by direct bank transfer – details are available in both cases by emailing bookorder[at]leominstermuseum.org.uk ##.  We are unable to take card payments remotely; cheques will only be accepted, by prior arrangement, where you are unable to use either of our preferred payment methods.

3.  Delivery:  Once we have confirmed the total amount payable, we will do our best to despatch the publications in question, by ordinary second class post unless otherwise arranged, within three working days after we receive full payment.  However,

  • in the case of cheque payments where agreed, despatch may be up to two weeks after we receive your cheque at the address advised, to allow time for banking it and clearance procedures; and
  • the Children of the Stream and the Field DVD, in particular, may involve a slightly longer wait.

It may be necessary to send more than one package as stocks of some items are held in different locations, but this will not be charged extra.

4.  Returns:  We are happy to accept returns, whether or not we had correctly fulfilled your order, on the following basis:

  • Items returned must be undamaged and in fully saleable condition, and must be received by us, at the address we notify you, within two weeks of your receiving them.
  • Please notify us first by emailing bookorder[at]leominstermuseum.org.uk ##, indicating the reason for the return, to check the address to which the item should be returned and to supply bank details (sort code, full account name as on your statements, and account number) for the refund.
  • Any return postage must be fully paid by you;
    • If we have sent the wrong item we will reimburse your postage cost by adding the relevant amount to the refund.
    • In any case, if an excess charge is levied on delivery back to us, we will deduct that from the refund.
  • Refunds will be paid only after we have received the item in question in accordance with the above.  Payment will be made only by direct transfer to a UK sterling bank account.  Please note that we are unable to make payments using PayPal.

5.  Status of order:  No contract will come into existence, even if we have received your order and payment in cleared funds, until we have emailed you to confirm acceptance of the order.  We will do our best to let you know within 36 hours after receipt whether or not we can accept it.

6.  Use of contact details:  We will not use contact details derived from the order process except to administer your order, and for accounting purposes in connection with your payment.  We will retain details from this source only as long as is required for those purposes or by law.
